You Are
Long time friend and saxophonist Ted Taforo asked me to perform Laptop Processing and Master his newest album; You Are. A mixture of acoustic and electronic instruments, melding together into a personal jazzy funk album.
Ted Taforo is a performer, composer, and educator known for his versatility, unique compositions, and powerful saxophone sound. Ted is a two-time recipient of the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award and is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and California Institute of The Arts. Recent projects include Us from Spoon's Hot Thoughts on Matador Records, Duncan Thum's soundtrack for season 3 of the Netflix Original Series Chef's Table, and Snow Nerds' Gup Life on Orenda Records. Ted teaches woodwinds at The Rhodes School of Music in Los Angeles and is a resident artist for the Music Immersion Experience (MIE) at Roosevelt Elementary School in San Gabriel, CA.
